Since 2019, the year she became Årets Urørt, Norwegian artist Iris Caltwait has accumulated more than 40 million streams on Spotify for her critically acclaimed releases. She built her fanbase through performances at several European festivals and toured with AURORA both in Norway and internationally. In 2019, she released two EPs, earning praise from international outlets like Dummy Magazine and The Line of Best Fit. 

In 2021, Iris Caltwait released “Voodoo Voodoo” with Skaar, a dark and sensual track that gained significant attention from Spotify, 730.no, BT, NRK, VG, and Klassekampen, and was named Song of the Week on NRK P3. That same year, she also appeared alongside AURORA on Askjell’s single “Sofia,” which later received international attention after being featured in the Netflix series Bridgerton.

During the pandemic, Iris Caltwait focused on completing her debut album, love and other disasters, which was released in May 2021 to rave reviews. She also toured Norway with dePresno in May and June.

In 2025, Iris Caltwait has started unveiling new material to widespread praise and key playlist support on radio and DSPs. With more releases to come, the stage is set for an exciting new chapter.
